This site has to be the most unreliable POS in the history of the web. It seems like it can't go even two months without going offline.

Is it down for you too? I literally JUST posted a chapter to my story, and now it won't load the site. At all. Thankfully, I already updated everything, but the fact that I can't even access my own profile to make sure it worked is frustrating!

I don't even get a down message, just a blank page. It sounds stupid but I'm a little worried that one day soon the site is going to be gone for good :(

I don't even want to think about the site being gone. I just wish they'd fix it; it's annoying as hell. This is the second time for me, and I've been on the site for two years, so I guess I got off lucky. But still, this is ridiculous!

Well, I won't blame them, seriously people, think about it, they receive countless of thousands of updates EACH DAY, 24/7, from all over the world, it's a wonder the site is not down more often. I for one am amazed they are able to keep their servers going for a week even with the humongous amount of information they have to manage daily. Besides, they provide a FREE SERVICE! you can't really be complaining now since you don't have to pay for the site, they manage with just the money they get from advertising(Trust me, it's not much, it never is) Stop complaining people, the site is not taxing you for the service, they do what they can to keep up for weeks a site that by all means of logic should be down every two days, and don't worry about the site dissapearing, I don't see that happening soon, given how dedicated the staff is(look, the site is back up just as I'm finishing this message if that's not dedication then I don't know what is)

I posted a new story a few hours ago. FF.net removed all my scene breaks, two words,a comma and an exclamation point.(Why, I don't know.)Now the site is down,again. Just another day at FF.net. ):

Well, FF.NET is down right now. I thought it was just my connection being slow and problematic but other people can't enter it now too.

One of the things that irritates me the most is the fact that there is no message or anything when it goes down. No "Hey-sorry-about-this-working-on-the-problem-should-be-back-online-in-XX-hours" Because sitting and refreshing the site every 15 seconds is not exactly me making me little miss sunshine.

FF.net should be in that World Record Book with the amount of times it goes down. I read all the comments and someone said they've been on the site for 2 years, so that means since about '08. I've been on since '06, I think you get used to it. Well, I got used to it. So, it's good to get something to distract you, like doing HW, bothering peaceful family members, reading a paper book xP, or just playing a game console. If you can't do any of these, go to the store buy some ice cream and eat it. Lol, I also saw the strawman comments. You forgot Luna. And Luna doesn't make money on the dictionary of ads that FF.net has. At least Luna asks for donations. Recently they were down cuz they had to move to a new server. They even made a LJ, FB and Twitter for it. Once they moved servers they came back up. I also don't think Luna has a team as big as FF.net, yet runs so much better. Oh well...FF.net, can't live with it, can't live without it.

I am using TWCS library for now. I really like ffnet because there is no other site with so many options, but TWCS is a good alternative. It has ff and it also has original f that is pretty good. If there is anyone out there that still doesn't want to do homework even though ff doesn't work you may want to check this site.

So, I was just Googling if the whole site was down, or if my computer was being weird and I came across this... And the read it all. EVERYTHING. Arguments over the computer are almost as entertaining... XD

The irony behind this is that I, like the user above me, used google to discover the reason that ff.net was down. Now I no longer need ff.net because i am entertained enough the hilarious amount of bickering between the strawman... and everyone else.

i wish that they at least had a page where it says "sorry fixing problems" or something! i was about to smash my laptop cuz i thought it was acting up. Well smash it in general. I was hoping to cool down my head by reading sum ff. looks like THAT plan is out the window now >=[
