FF.net down
This site has to be the most unreliable POS in the history of the web. It seems like it can't go even two months without going offline.

(Anonymous) 2010-12-01 02:30 am (UTC)(link)At this point, I'm only staying for the convenience of getting update alrets from old ongoing stories. AO3 is wonderful.

(Anonymous) 2010-12-01 02:51 am (UTC)(link)Yes, I enjoy the stories, but no, the site I do not enjoy ATM. Especially since I can't enjoy the stories when its down.
They haven't done that yet because the whole point of FANFICTION.net is to host FANFICTION. If they 'send everything to hell' no one would go to fanfiction.net anymore. I highly doubt they'll want to close down considering they're the biggest fanfiction-hosting site (AFAIK).
And no, we might not have those stories BUT there'll be new ones and authors could upload to other sites. A loss, certainly, but not something that will kill anyone.
