Problems with posting chapters

I have found I have two problems:
1) I cannot post more than one chapter per story per day
2) Today I experienced something new - I posted a chappie on my newest fic, but it showed up on a different one! It got added to an old, completed fic I have - and no, I didn't add it to that one by error ;) I fixed it - or so I thought - but the chapter again got added to a different fic. Third times the charm, though, as I just fixed it AGAIN, and it seems to be on the right story now *cries in frustration at fanfiction.net*
