Punctuation

The other day, I decided to post a story I had been working on for a few months. No problems there. I checked, and rechecked, and went through the whole song and dance of getting the thing operation--particularly since FF.net is really good a screwing things up. Everything looks clear, so I press the "submit" button. Goes through without a hitch. Mentally high-five myself on a job well-done.
So I check my email today, and there's a review stating that while my story ideas are good, I need to add quotation marks, because without them, the dialogue is very hard to read. I pause and then go look up my story. Sure enough, FF.net had eaten all of my punctuation, except for periods and commas. It looked fine when I posted it in all the previews! So I just spent an extra 30-40 minutes, uploading, and re-uploading chapters to see if I could get the punctuation to stay put, then re-made the story. Hopefully the marks will stay in place.
Anyone else running into this?
