Is anyone else bothered by the lack of clarity in the ratings system? They say explicit content, but not how explicit. Not to mention, they're going by America's System of rating, which not everyone is familiar with, and trying to rate prose like we do with television and movies, which is ridiculous, considering you can get away with a lot more in prose. Half the time, I find myself rating my fics higher for my own safety because of it and I'm getting a bit sick of it. If we rated this stuff like we were supposed to be, a good portion of my stuff would be rated T, not M.
