The only time ever I got a response was 3 years ago, and that was for a request to add a character. I have never had responses to error reports and such.
I e-mailed them regarding the issue with certain gmail accounts like they said you had to do to be able to log-in again with your account so I was hoping they'd actually get back to me on that :| I'd like to be able to use my account thank you very much *sighs*
I've tried that. Not only don't they reply, but they also never fix the problem I tweet them about :(
To be honest, I am not sure I think they even read what we mail/tweet them, and if things are fixed shortly after, I am starting to suspect it's a coincidence.
Never. I stopped being able to post fics from my account, and I mailed them (and tweeted them) several times, but they never responded and never fixed the problem.
I ended up just creating a new account and I am using that now.
Yeah, I guess that's what I'll do. But I still want access to my old account to delete some info on the profile/certain stories I don't want associated with my name anymore :|
I have no use for the support people. They don't care about us users. The last time I got a reply from them was when I couldn't see my profile hit counter, back when i still cared about getting profile hits, and they told me to refresh the page and it worked and I asked them why the site kept going down at odd times a year ago and they told me that they had been testing some things and had run into trouble or something like that, and then they just stopped replying after that. I want to contact them all the time now, especially now that I am in the Hobbit fandom and all these nasty incest stories and Bagginshield stories are being posted. I don't like incest stories and have never read them, but I am offended by the characters being used like that. I like the canon relationships better.
Ya know... you don't have to read stories you don't like. There is this amazing thing called a "summary" that you should read before starting a story. :)
I have emailed them several times and not gotten a reply once. Clearly they either don't read their emails or don't care enough about their viewers to reply back. Like for the past two month on and off every time i try and go on fanfiction.net it comes up saying can't make a secure connection. I can get onto the mobile one fine and also fictionpress. I can sometimes get onto the main one for a short while before the message appear again. I have no problem using my laptop. Does anyone have any ideas on why that is. I would be very grateful if someone knew how to fix it.
I don't think I ever have? I think back in 2011 or 2012 or something there was an (actually very sweet!) review on one of my stories, which inadvertently gave away a big twist at the end of the story. I contacted the reviewer and thanked her, but asked if she would mind removing the spoiler. She was very cool about it, but it turned out she could not remove or edit her review. I also could not remove her review, because it was not anonymous.
I contacted one of the mods and (politely!) said that both the reviewer and I would like to have the review removed, but I never heard back. Some weeks later, I tried writing the mods again, and again, nothing. The review with the spoiler is there to this day...
