Seriously ff.net needs to get their bleeding act together. First I couldn't edit my stories (thanks to the person who posted that fix) and now I can't search for a fic! Seriously?!?! This is messed up.

These folks needs to get on it and fix their junk. UGH.

At this point is ridiculous how long this problem is going on for. Not only is there the error posting stories, the search engine not working, but now the beta readers section of the site doesn't work! Do the people who run the site have any darn clue what they are doing? This is completely inexcusable at this point. I don't care that the site is large. There is no justification for the lack of communication with the site's users and for the problem to be going on this long! Do the people who run the site even care anymore? Do they have a clue what they are doing? I'm a beta reader and it is not acceptable for that section of the site to not be working. It is completely unacceptable for so many things to not be working at a given time and for the support staff to be as inept as they appear to be. Sorry for repeating myself but I had to rant but hey that's what this site is for.

Rant away. I've personally got my own with the beta section. My problem is that much as I like the idea of it, there is no way to search through it properly. No way to narrow down further. Some authors like sort things. Others like longer stories or series to work on. Some want to do everything you have to offer and others are one story and done. It feels like throwing darts into space and hoping to hit a black hole with the current system. *fail* I've needed a new beta for 13 months now and haven't been able to make heads or tails out of the beta section of ff.net. Fail for FF.net and me.
