Sooo... stats seem to be temporarily working. No sign of restoration of lost stats yet, though.

Anyone else still experiencing the Missing Story Mystery?

EDIT 15 Jan.: Looks like everything is coming back in a rush. AND stories all seem to be where they're supposed to be.

Mine, too. Although, considering that the last time, stats returned only to die again just days later, I'm not holding my breath.

At least the disappearing chapters seems to be over.

My Saturday is still coming back. I expect Friday to grow, too, because it had been accumulating when it suddenly stopped that morning.

You got Saturday back? I have nothing, still. But I've got crazy huge numbers for Sunday (compared to Monday, anyway). And my Friday numbers are still what they were around 10 a.m. EST on that day. I wondered if a chunk of my missing hits had been assigned to Sunday.

I am still in the process of getting Saturday -- much more rapidly, I should mention, than I got any of the previous days. My Sunday is lame. Maybe you're right, who knows? Back when we had that mid-December outtage, I never got one of my days back.

Same here. I'm glad to see that others - along with myself - are starting to see their lost stats come back. I just hope it stays that way. But I wouldn't be surprised in the least if we experienced this again in the near future.

I don't know; my hits are pretty freaking (comparatively) low today, but (as of an hour ago) they're still growing, at least.

Hmm, I'm afraid to say it, but I think its quite possible that they've stopped again. I noticed it this afternoon and I was hopping that it was simply a slow day for my Stats. But now that I'm seeing other people having the same problem, I beginning to think otherwise.

I have updated in days and I'm still pulling in at least 300+ hits a day. Slow to be sure, but still trickling in.

I believe that something is going with FFN. In the last few days, I've been noticing a drastic decline in my Stats. Which is rather strange, considering how high they usually are. At first, I thought perhaps I was just having a slow day. But now I'm beginning to think different.

Perhaps only certain servers are being affected by whatever is going on here, so try not be too hard on yourself :)

With all the click-jack ads (that force you to download some stupid game? cut me some slack), maybe it's just that no one's bothering to read any more. And who could blame them?

Why is it when one thing's fixed something else breaks? The stats are supposedly fixed, and the mystery of disappearing chapters, but now the search engine is jacked up again. Fanfiction is a big site and I understand that, but really! I've never seen a site with so many problems coming out its ass. o.e

I follow quite a few stories, and my alert list claims no stories have been updated in the last month, which I find very hard to believe. Any idea if this is linked to what y'all are experiencing?

I haven't a clue about the others, but most of the stories I follow have been updated. I just checked though, and it seems as if one story was updated a while ago and I missed the alert.

I don't know if it's just me but now it seems that almost every page is "locked" unless you download a game and now even in my account. I want to respond to a person's PM they sent, not download and take a survey or play a game so that someone can either sell my email address for spam or gift me with adware or a Trojan horse.

Use Firefox with Adblocker plus a subscription to a block list. I never see ads on FF.net.
