Dear FF.N,

Why did you finally get my story up, and then an hour later give me the Story Not Found error? It was up! I saw it! Why did it suddenly disappear again?

(Is it me, or do the badficcers have a much easier time of getting stories up on the site?)

ETA: Oh look, they did it again. Only I never even saw it uploaded, but there it is, in my profile, and it's Still Not There.

That's why there seems to be no earthly way to contact a human being at FF.net, they don't want to take responsibility for any of their own errors. Also, I think you're right about badficcers.

Yeah...I saw that the servers seemed okay this morning, and then went all wonky again. It sucks. It really does.

No idea. It was up again briefly, but now it's down. My stats say it's up, and, paradoxically, that it's received one hit in the time between when I noticed it disappear from my profile, and now.

IT DID THE SAME THING TO ME. I pull up Chapters 8-10 in Live Preview, but they DON'T EXIST otherwise!

Couple of days ago a new story appeared in the section I read most. Then it was gone. Then earlier today it came back. Now it's gone again. It didn't even look very good, but of course now I want it!!
