Drop-down issues, hovering issues, and tab issues. Oh my.

For the past few days I have been running into a mess of problems. Basically, a bunch of stuff on the site isn't reacting to my mouse and clicks and whatnot.

-Nothing happens when I hover over "Home," "Just In," etc. at the top of the page.
-Nothing happens when I hover over the "Account," "Publish," etc. tabs on my profile page, so there are no drop-down menus (so I can't get to New Story page... I did manage to get the link off another computer and plug it into my browser and it worked. However, when I wanted to continue to Step 2, the "Continue" button just sat there, quietly mocking me).
-My favorite stories don't display on my public profile page, and when I click on ANYBODY'S tabs, there's more quiet mocking.
-I can't sort by Popularity or anything like that in the lists of shows, movies, etc. The page does seem to refresh, but nothing reorganizes.

I was using FireFox, I even used CCleaner to clean everything in it up. No dice. I tried IE, still nothing. I emailed for support, and they played along for a while. "Disable add-ons and extensions." Check. "Try Chrome and Opera browsers." Check. And that's where our love affair ended.

I would really love to upload some of my story. If anyone has had this problem and successfully conquered it, I would be really grateful. I'm open to safe downloads. And at this rate, Dark Magic.

Maybe a little over a week. I don't remember exactly when it started. I had been reading a lot of fics on and off for the past year or two, but I didn't sign in for a long time. All of this started happening around the time I started using my account instead of just using the site as a guest. I can also use my account and do everything on my roommate's computer, so I guess it's a problem with mine, but I don't understand why it started so suddenly.

The site had been working fine for me for as long as I can remember.

That's really strange. I guess it's not something that will sort itself out in a few days then. Wait, so it works fine on your roommate's comp?

This has happened to me TWICE!, and its doing it now (AGAIN) and its starting to piss me off. Last time I emailed support they were no help because I had done everything they told me to do, so I got to the point where I reinstalled firefox. GRRR

Not at first. I was using a back version of Mozilla Firefox. I tried that version and it did not work. So I downloaded the latest one and as far as I know, all is well with FF.net... I'm not expecting it to last though.

The same thing is happening to me. I've used both Firefox and Chrome to try to solve the problem but nothing changed. Maybe it's an script/update error on the computer itself instead of a browser problem because my laptop can open up the dropdown menus...

I have same problem too. I tried IE8, chorme, opera, firefox 3.5.7 & firefox 3.6...
please tell me if you know how to fix this :(
