Dear ff.net,

Where oh where is flashfic I posted yesterday? It has some hits and a review, so why is it showing this error message:



I've checked, and my other fics are fine. It's just this one - which is under a different category, so perhaps that's the reason? Still, I've tried replacing the chapter, but nope, still no fic. *shrugs*


On another note, why have you decided to take out all the spaces after Italicised text? I mean What the ever-living frag is that all about?

I uploaded a fic this morning, went to do my usual last-minute edit just in case ff.net has decided to replace all my apostrophes with badgers or something equally weird, and I found that it had removed all the spaces after Italicised text. I just don't understand.

I thought that the automatic removal of certain characters was to stop people from posting things in a format that admin doesn't approve of, or to stop us from having any kind of stylish layout for our work (bitter about the NO ASTERISKS thing? You bet). But I can't work out what benefit removing those spaces has.
