Return of the disappearing updates?

Well, as problems go, this is less annoying than some, but I think I'm beginning to see signs of a problem that has happened a few other times in the past year returning. Sometimes today, when I click on a new story I get a story not found message. Then, there was one story that got updated, and I read the new chapter and reviewed it. Then, when I went to look at the chapter a few minutes later, it had disappeared.

I remember this happened in January, and I think it happened around July or August of last year. It generally resolves in about a week, but it's a nuisance while it lasts.

I was just wondering if anyone had noticed it starting to happen as well.

(And I was planning to update my story this week, too.)

Update: Several hours later, the problem is still going on. The just in page wasn't showing anything posted after sometime yesterday. When I checked a specific fandom, it did show things posted today, but one of the chapters that had been posted today (and that I read and reviewed earlier) had completely vanished. It was still on the listing of stories, but nothing in the story showed it existed. All of the existed chapters showed that the story hadn't been updated since January. I'm not sure if the author took the chapter down, or if it's more of this same problem.

And, I was really looking forward to tomorrow, because I was hoping there might be more stories than usual posted about my favorite character. (For reasons that will be apparent, if anyone has figured out what character I was talking about in some of the other posts I've made here.) Now, even if stories do get posted, I can't count on being able to read them. And I have spent several months looking forward to tomorrow. Why, out of all the times the site could do this, did it have to be this week?!
