Update Notice Failures

Hello there! I have a quick question for those of you here.

I update my story on a weekly basis every Monday (yes, I'm that pathetic) but for the past two weeks the date for the "last updated" is showing my previous update and not the new, latest updates. Also my readers have reported that they had not received the e-mail "Story Alert" notifications even though they have received them in the past.

I myself subscribe to my own story just to ensure that the upload is working properly and I did receive the latest update alert in my e-mail but I do not doubt my readers when they say they themselves have not gotten any. Has anyone else noticed this problem? Is there anything I can do about it?
