Fanfiction.net Type 1 Errors
Anybody else getting errors like this when they go to their story or user stats? I e-mailed support about this a couple of days ago, but still this is happening. (>_<)
(I've blacked out a couple of things because they could reveal personally identifying information, but this is the gist of the error message)

(Added 08/31/2015 : The error no longer happens, but it looks like all stats accumulated were lost once the Type 1 Error started happening)
(Added 09/02/2015 : And now ff.n is throwing 503 errors on the author page)
(Added later on 09/02/2015 : No more 503 errors! Stats are still missing for the days Type 1 Errors were being thrown, but at least now I can see my stats page again!)

Not that I'm writing for stats, but it's nice to see them regardless.

Of note: the sock account's stats are loading, but they show no hits for the past week--as long as the errors have been happening. I think it's the Pit's usual three-times-a-year stats problem.
It will start working again, eventually. *sigh*

I believe it IS an issue of different servers. I just wish they'd fix it! I love keeping an eye on my stats. :P

What I find quite odd is that there hasn't been new updates about any movement on the site since May o.o
Fanfiction.net portal and the blog show as latest news one from May 2, 2015 =/

I checked yesterday when it worked and had no stats between 8/24 and 8/31, but it worked in September.

And foreign author here, writing fanfics in English, hi! Why don't you try to make your own site if you're not happy and have incredibly ridiculous demands? We'll see how it works =)
(I hope you're joking.)
I wouldn't mind if the admins actually deleted the NC-17 material on FFnet since it's against their rules.
But, take it from someone who managed databases for a living, working on a website this huge is hell. It's a freaking lot of data. If you try to optimize a page for it to load faster for example, you'll end up with a problem somewhere else because there is a high probability you'll forget about that variable you just changed but which is also called from another page. It's a nightmare, and I'm not even talking about the database parts of the job.
FFnet can work on their communication, yes, but otherwise, give them a break.
