New user here (wanted to say hi with a rant)

I've been on fanfiction.net for years. I mean like when it still had NC-17 ratings and original fanfiction.

I've used it off and on along with Deviantart and while I (sorta) quit the latter I still use the former. The problem is that FF.net always gives me problems.

-Redirect loop/crash errors with pages.
-Weird new layout
etc. etc.

Its frustrating. Not only that but I'm leery about my works because some of them are M rated. I'm debating if I should post them all on A03 but most of them are years old and its kind of hard to transfer stories since FF.net has cut off tranfering fanfiction from their site to A03. Also I have a lot of readers who can (or want to) read on ff.net.

Besides the site in general the only issue I have is that for some reason people block me. I'm not sure why; I don't leave nasty reviews, I'm pretty nice (I enjoy your work because of blah blah keep up the good work!) I rarely leave constructive reviews, I rarely pm people (they usually pm me which I don't mind,) but I get blocked anyway.

Do people not like me or something or is it my name? My name is garbage girl (in Japanese) but besides that I'm not even bad. Its just weird and its getting to my inferiority complex.

Actually, you can copy-paste your stories from ff.net if you go in from your Traffic Stats. Select Legacy Story Stats and click on the story link. I've yet to have issues copying from there and it also doesn't score an extra hit on the counter the way it would if you visited your story from the main site.

Alternatively, you can still download fics from Ffnet via the downloader from here. Raimund is pretty prompt with bug fixes, and a notification will pop up every time you need to update the downloader.

Maybe you should change your pen name to something nicer. People probably don't like you because of your pen name and that's why they block you.
