You know the one change that ff.net mentioned that I thought was a rather good idea? The separate space in a story for author's notes.

And then that's the one thing they DIDN'T do!

Ugh hell yes so annoyed. Having the author's notes in-text at all bloats the wordcount compared to using AO3 or suchlike, and it makes it possible for A/Ns to get stuck next to the story without anything to show where the split is if dividers get eaten a-freaking-gain.
