Dear Fanfiction.net,

I would really like to login please. You know, like I have been doing for about the past five years ? I cannot see whatever image I'm supposed to be verifying, all I see is that beloved red x on a white background.

This might be one of your drastic changes but it's certainly in the wrong direction. The only spyware on ff.net is the crap generated from the ads.

I'd e-mail someone about it but....whooops! Can't do that can we?

Would be nice if you could fix this.

I can see the image (I'm astounded!) but what the heck is this in aid of? For registration of course it's a good idea, but what's the point of it for logging in?

And it might have been nice to put something on the front page to tell people about it and of course provide an address for feedback/issues.

Oh and is there an alternative method set up for visually impaired people as per basic standards for accessability? (excuse me while I laugh hysterically.)

They do have something up on the front page about it now. I think it's a silly and unnecessary measure (especially when you consider how often the important stuff on the site breaks), but whatever.

I didn't have any problem seeing the image, either. Mazten, which browser are you using?

I had that same problem a little while ago when I tried to log in. Have you tried refreshing the page? That worked for me.
