This may be my version of IE, but my messages now look like this:

Does anyone else have this problem? It makes them rather irritating to read. :/

They changed everything on the accounts to drop down menus on the left side. I don't know how I feel about it but I had to explain how to upload documents, label them and publish to a new writer (and it's always exciting to find new ones on smaller fandoms!) and I had to try to figure it out myself before reporting back.

Ugh! I REALLY hate this new format. It looks messy and it's hard on my eyes. The information on the right-hand side now appears so small. I hope they change it back :(

Maybe I'm weird, but I like the new system a lot better than the glitchy tab system they had for years. And I'm glad that they kept the same menu organization. I really wouldn't have liked getting used to a whole new set-up.

Same here. It's very hard to read the replies when they are all squished into a narrow column on one side. It's not a matter of getting used to a "new look" if the new look is actually user-unfriendly.

And the whole different layout of the account, with the rather stark menus on the side (with some of the drop-downs renamed), doesn't seem as pleasing or friendly as the old way.

I have the exact same problem with the vertical message thing, I have to read my messages from my email, and even then, GAAAH ¬_¬.
