Logins disabled again

They claim 30 minutes to work on stuff. I suspect it'll end up being another day or so, and probably will be sporadic, too.

ETA: 17 March 12:30 AM PDT - logins disabled again, same situation.

I'm preparing to submit a chapter and am crossing my fingers and trying not to press my buttons too quickly lest it all crash down.

I tried to log in and got this message:


March 17th, 2009 12:20AM PST. The login area has been disabled for scheduled database upgrade. Please come back in 30 minutes.


Does this happen every night? Is the site getting ready for another big crash?

Just a little over half an hour has passed, now - so I hope it comes up, soon.

If it starts to become an every night occurrence, then I will start getting worried.
