A few minutes ago I sent in an e-mail to support@fanfiction.net requesting a new category be made. Almost instantly, I got an e-mail saying this:
Sorry, the option to delete the account is not available right now. You can, however, log in and delete your profile and stories. And make sure to disable all alerts as well.
And I'm like... okay, there's no way that's anything but an auto-responder replying to me. Why is the auto-response completely irrelevant to my e-mail, and why oh why is it a response to someone asking how to delete their account?
I mean really. What the hell.
...Who wants to bet the reason this is their auto-responder is because they've been deluged with people complaining about wanting to delete their accounts? :D
