deleting FFN account

I'm done with FFN, but they aren't done with me.  I see no way to delete my account.  I can take down the fics, blank the profile and empty my inbox, but the profile remains. I'd like to close the account permanently.  Does anyone know a way to make that happen?

I emailed the company and the man who answered claimed it was impossible to delete an account.  That can't be true, but I have no idea how to proceed from here,

Captcha at login

It seems of late all FF.net wants to do is irritate their end users. Today, they required me to type in a captcha before I could log in. I have my browser set to fill in my user ID and password so I won't have to type anything in, just click the button and go. Now FF.net has ruined that with this captcha requirement.

I refuse to post anything to that site until they get rid of the requirement. Who's with me?!
