The Connection has Timed Out
Hi,
I'm writing right now because the muse has seized my attention and I'm in full pursuit but alas, I can't even get into my account. After loading the main page, I found that loading my account or log in page just hangs and hangs until....
I get not my account page but this error message page that is all too familiar if you frequent FF.net:
The connection has timed out Duh, no really?
The server at login.fanfiction.net is taking too long to respond. The chimps in charge are out of bananas
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments. What you mean, it's temporarily working and very often unavailable or busy.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection. Loads everything else (except sister site, Fiction Press) just fine.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. No, No problem here.
So anyway, not much going on except wondering if the site will ever work again. Yes it often returns eventually sometimes sooner rather than later but now my muse will not be realized until some life form at this site if there is one realized he or she flipped the wrong switch to get the reward snack.
Oh I did some additional checking at a site to see if the site is down for everyone or just working on my computer and it's response?
