I spent three hours working on it, the update to one of my FF.net stories to my tiny fandom and when I try to upload the story, it takes FOREVER and then I get the following error message:

Request Timeout

This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase 'Connection Timeout'.

So I try to open up an old draft, copy and paste the update and then try to load the update and it takes three attempts and five minutes but I finally did it! I published it  under "manage stories" and it does that much faster. But I seemed to remember this problem with the document manager not too long ago.

I have a fiction press account and my stat counter stopped counting, oh two weeks ago and they were back filling every two days until they gave up about four days ago so while still writing those stories, I've been spending the bulk of my time with my Fan Fiction. Though Fiction Press also shows the same error when uploading stories.

I've sent emails to both sites but given that it's a holiday weekend in the States, it might take a while to fix it but why oh why break it or even mess with the site AT ALL right before a holiday weekend?

Thank you for allowing me to vent.
