Alerts down/broken/just really delayed...?

Is it me or are they slow/down today? A couple of fics I didn't know were updated through alerts in my e-mail(*) showed up on the first page of the story lists for the fandom.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed this?

(Uh, I seem to have bad timing, too, since I came here to ask this AFTER the ... interesting post that showed up)

ETA: (*) That is, the alerts haven't shown up as of now in my e-mail inbox yet.

ETA 2: 18 March 2011 00:26 PDT ff.n is back to normal, and alerts are trickling in now.

ETA 3: 19 March 2011 20:36 PDT ff.n is back to behaving weirdly. I've just had a comment stating that alerts and PMs are not working. I believe DocX requests are also not functioning.
