Why Do You Hate Me?

So last night, I tried to update one of my fics. I did the usual: uploaded to the document manager, made some edits, and then pressed save. But then you know what happened? 

The stupid thing bolded, centered, and left justified the most random things in it. Naturally, I tried to fix it. Once it looked the way I wanted it to again, I saved but. But then you know what happened? 

The same thing happened. Again. It bolded, centered, left justified, and even italicized the most random paragraphs and lines in my document. Then the weirdest thing happened: when I tried to unbold something, it then decided to bold everything else! By this time I want to throw my computer out the window and yank every piece of hair out of my head.

Finally figured out that the problem was simply this: fanfiction.net hates Internet Explorer 8. Because after all this, I gave up and tried again on a different browser thinking that may have been the problem and I was right! Apparently FF loves Firefox more than it does IE8. Ridiculous.

I just wanted to know, does anyone else have problems with FF using Internet Explorer 8? Or does it just really hate me?
