This is not a rant against a ff.net error; rather, it's about it's content.
I was reading a story the other day, (harry potter/ Pirates of the Caribbean crossover) it had a good plot line. it had a good premise. then (as Descriptions of Harry got Girlier and Girlier) Harry was suddenly doing Norrington.
I was reading another Harry Potter story. I knew that it was a long series of stories, well written and plenty of reviews. And it was good - until Harry and Draco started making out.
It's one thing thats really beginning to bug me about FF.net. The way that many, many GOOD stories are either ruined by unnecessary slash. Sometimes I feel it's just plonked on at the end, trying to appeal to the masses.
The thing is, I'm not all against slash. Just not unnecessary slash - and not slash where one of the men is girlyfied to make it work. I know everybody has their own tastes - I just wish slash wasn't so pervasive.
I dunno - what do you think?
