Hyphens in story titles

(dreaded letter format)
Dear ffnet staff,
Hyphens are perfectly valid characters and should be allowed in story titles. In french they're used, among other things, for joining verbs and some personal pronouns. "Laisse-moi tranquille !" is grammatically correct. "Laissemoi tranquille !" is not ! Stop removing hyphens when I click "Save Changes" !
Oh, and it also applies to portuguese. "Deixa-me quieto!"
(I ended up inserting a space between "laisse" and "moi" but it's not correct either)
