Thought filtering was disabled

* After much feedback, our experiment with profanity filtering for K/K+ rated entries has been discontinued. There is just too much variation in how words can be used in the context of a story that renders any filter, even if good intentioned, quite useless.
* We have fined-tuned the profanity filter, when enabled for forums, pms, and reviews, to not be overly-aggressive.
* Login and visit the "Filters" section to enable/disable the profanity filter.

According to that, filters have been disabled for K/K+ stories and I have disabled the filter in my settings. However, when I read reviews of stories of just about any rating, not to mention when I visit the forums, I still see asterisks.

Am I doing something wrong?
