No longer able to highlight text in fics
Not just me, right? If this is permanent, my best guess is that it was done to deter plagiarism by putting an end to people being able to just right-click copy whole stories.
10/11/2013 update: "Basic copy protection of story content within modern browsers. Currently it is enabled for all but authors will be able to disable/enable this feature in a coming update."

No clue why they're just now telling us this, but hallelujah at it being optional \o/

When you install Greasemonkey, a monkey's head icon appears in the top right corner of your screen.
When your script is working, the icon is very visible, with vivid colors and when you push the icon, it disables the script and the icon is not that visible anymore.
Maybe your script is disabled, is your icon visible or a little washed up?
Go to a story you'd like to copy and look at the icon.
If the icon is very visible, then Greasemonkey is enabled.
If the icon is washed up, then it's disabled and you need to push the icon and then refresh the page. Always refresh the page after clicking the icon!
Are you sure the script is installed?
To view if the script is installed, click on the arrow next to the monkey icon and a menu will appear.
Click on Manage User Scripts and a new tab will open. There, you should see your script: "Fanfiction (dot) net, make text selectable again"
If it's not there, go on Userscripts (dot) org and search the script. Install it.
Go on the page you want to copy, refresh the page and it should work (I tested mine and it works). Good luck!
