FF purge

Don't know if it's still happening, but there's another site to post stories. YourFanFiction. Looks like it just sprung up as there aren't that many fics added yet, but it's easy to use, has an MA rating, no invite necessary, not in beta, has the 'add to favorites' feature, and you can copy and paste your stories from FF. It's rather nice...

I'm going to stick to Ao3 unless I can post my fic headers like I do on LJ and link them to the fic on Ao3. Nothing against that site (or TWCS, I see tumblr people saying to go there too) but I'm trying to get all my feedback in one place. I used to post on LJ, DW, Ao3, FF.net, YG, and DA and everything was so dispersed. Plus I like the fave and kudos buttons on ff and Ao3. Not everyone comments.

Oh, yeah. You can post your fic headers on YourFanFiction. It's actually easier to do than LJ. But i understand about wanting to have everything in one place...

Thanks for the recommendation! I might end up checking it out. The fact that it has an MA rating AND doesn't require an invite is a huge turn on for me :) The whole invite thing was the only thing really keeping me away from AO3.

Thanks again for the rec! I just had a look around and I'm very impressed with the site! Much more impressed than I was with AO3. If I get a backup fanfiction account, it'll definitely be at YFF. I intend to spread the word about this site!

I have an invite or two left for AO3, if you want one? Once you accept an invite, you can use the site instantly.

How do people get those invites anyway? I was looking at AO3 lately but the invite thing made me stop and wonder what the point of such a policy is.
